Rabbi Yaakov Mintz served as an educator and educational leader for twenty years. He currently focuses on students whom the educational system often unintentionally marginalizes because their talents lie in areas that are not academic. These children get the message that they are not talented or capable, when in fact the exact opposite is true. Rabbi Mintz is specially trained in Alternative and At-Risk education and Trauma-sensitivity in education, and uses these approaches to give all kids a place in the Jewish community.
